Consultation Feedback – Key Points List From Public Exhibition - November 2013

Initial Public Consultation – November 2013

Shortly after forming the Slinfold Neighbourhood Plan Working Group the group held a Public drop-in consultation session where people could express their views and also find out what a Neighbourhood Plan was about. The feedback from this consultation was verbal to members of the working group and a list of Community wishes emerged.

1.       The Strategic Gap                                                                           

2.       Development within the Village Envelope

3.       Preference for smaller developments

4.       Provision of single units

5.       Retain adequate sheltered housing

6.       Need for a Village Green

7.       KGV re-development

8.       Broadband (now completed)

9.       Upgrade Village Hall

10.   Downs Link Museum

11.   New Scout Hut

12.   Improve Mini- bus and Commuter Service

13.   New cricket pavilion

14.   R-bout on Lyons Rd/A264

15.   Pavement son A 29

16.   Protect the Downs Link Corridor

17.   Investigate locally generated power

18.   Support Sussex Biodiversity Research Centre

19.   Consult with Youth Worker on provisions

20.   Audit of Old Folk
